Now, originally, I had heard about Silent Hill, but I have never played any of the games. After watching the movie, I became pretty interested and finally got me a game. Silent Hill 3. And I loved it. Scary as heck--and I tend to be easily spooked/creeped out by games and movies like that.

Really liked the main char, Heather too. Even if she couldn't hit the broad side of the barn with a sub machine gun. But who needs that when you have a HUGE METAL PIPE.

I'd like to play the games but I don't really have the time. I've seen the movie though, it genuinely creeped me out in some parts and it takes a lot for a movie to do that to me.

If you think Silent Hill is scary, you should play the Fatal Frame series. I know fighting ghosts with a camera sounds extremely corny but, trust me on this. I am not easily scared at all and Fatal Frame makes me scream like a little girl.

The movie is pretty scary, yeah, but the games (At least in my experience with SH3) are a hundred times more terrifying. > D

Yeah I think it would be scary to play them in the dark. Heck, I got scared playing this [link] in the dark! The graphics are all Silent Hill-ish
